It's been too long...

...and I've gone through a few changes in the last several months.

I'm now 22 weeks pregnant and it seems like one day I could still fit in my jeans and the next day BAM! there's a bump. Definitely need to go shopping...

I'm in the process of moving into Sebastian's house. Taking it day by day, but definitely making myself at home. I'm starting to love this house that I only used to visit once or twice a week. Also it's quite interesting finding my inner neat freak. I was always a bit messy about things at my parent's house and I've definitely taken 180 from those days.

Sebastian has one part time job, a pending full time job and an on-call job, all three as a respiratory therapist. The part time job is a home care, which means he has several patients that he gives breathing treatments to several times a week. The pending job is for a sub-acute facility and supposedly is having orientation and training on Jan 20th...but we'll see...And the on-call job is a registry that has him go to different hospitals based on which ones need him. The registry is great because he needs all the hospital exposure he can get. Needless to say, I'm proud of my man.

And finally - It's a Boy!

We like the name Lionel (pronounced with a Spanish accent - Lee-O-Nelle) and we're mostly 100% on it, even though my parents don't really know it. I've even got clothes for him which makes waiting another 18 weeks so much harder!

I'm going through so many changes at this point. Changes in my emotions, my ideals, my habits, my maturity, my interests...Just six months ago I was a care free 23 year old girl. Now I'm so much more...domesticated. You know what I did this morning? Swept, organized some stuff in a cabinet in the kitchen and jotted a list of things for Sebastian to do when he gets home. Who am I?!

Honestly, this change of lifestyle doesn't bother me one bit. It's weird and different, but I'm happy. All I'm really concerned about is losing my personal interests and I know I have to make an effort to nurture my hobbies. That's why this Saturday night I'm going to the Pomona Art Walk to shoot for my friend's internet magazine. Getting out and shooting is one of my favorite things to do...let's just hope I remember.

Anyway, Happy New Year!
